The property market in UK and globally may not be optimistic just yet. However a recent report published by The National Landlords Association (NLA) has found women in property believe the future of the property market in UK is good and are optimistic about the future property market in general.
The findings of this property research, released recently, discovered that more than half of all female property professionals are optimistic about the future and are looking actively to expand their property portfolio during the year. In fact the figure is nearly 62 per cent of all female property professionals in UK. The property research also discovered that 87 per cent of female property professionals believe that property investment still offers better return than savings or many other forms of investment.
The study that specifically targets female property professionals also bring to light some other interesting facts. The property research highlights that approximately 63 per cent of women surveyed stated that they intend to provide a rent freeze for their tenants, in addition to offering other perks and incentives for tenants.
The research has coincided with the launch of the NLA Property Women Awards 2009, which has been set up to recognises and mark the success of women property professional and those who manage their own property. Over half of those 500 women surveyed by the NLA said they would be expanding their operations in the current economic climate.
According to the Landlord’s association it is important to acknowledge and celebrate these women who are helping to transform the property market with their business savvy approach. According to the National Landlords Association, female landlords lead the way in customer service and are generally business savvy. The associated is delighted by the optimistic outlook of female property professionals and it also provides encouragement to others. The professional yet flexible approach offered by Female landlords show that property can be an excellent investment choice even during economic recession and downturn in the general property market.
The NLA Property Women Awards is our way of recognising the successes of women property professionals and how they have overcome the challenges faced during tough economic times. The chairman of the Association of Women in Property, Joanna Embling, has further added that these results are very encouraging and inspiring not only for women property professionals but by the entire property industry.
